Please Support Our Efforts to Improve School Road Park

The 367 Project, in conjunction with Hatfield Township, is endeavoring to improve School Road Park. This park routinely hosts thousands of Hatfield residents every year through sporting activities, outdoor recreation, and events and concerts that are held at the bandshell. Our goal is to enhance that experience for the residents of Hatfield, providing them with a greater opportunity to participate in outdoor and community events.

In July 2013, we will be leading a project to install the Thomas J. Richards Memorial Playground, a tot-lot playground that is designed specifically for 2-5 year old children. This new playground will complement the current playground at School Road Park, designed for older children. The 367 Project is also coordinating the work of two Boy Scouts who are seeking to complete their Eagle Scout Projects. Jon Richards, from Troop 229, will be leading the effort to build new benches for School Road Park. Austin Haeusser, also from Troop 229, will be leading the effort to install a patio by the two playgrounds.

Community members and local businesses have the opportunity to support these projects and to become apart of the park. We are recognizing community support in a number of ways, including engraved bricks on the patio and engraved benches.
